Maguire Gilner Angel Day 5K Run/Walk - May 19th, 2012 8 AM
Many parents suffer the loss of a child. Some of these sweet babies are never given the opportunity to take a breath of air on this planet - sometimes they pass straight from our wombs into Heaven.
This website is to promote the Maguire Gilner 5K Angel Day Run/Walk, organized in memory of Maguire Davis Gilner. Participants will be running not only for Maguire and his brother Titus, but in memory of all our Angel Babies.
Our second annual Angel Day 5k Run will be held on May 19th, 2012 at Lone Elm Park in Olathe, KS. Information will be posted as it becomes available, including how to sign up to take part in the run, how to become a volunteer and/or sponsor. Please help spread the word about the Angel Day 5k Run - this race will honor all of our children who passed into Heaven too soon.
The proceeds from this race will go to the Maguire Davis Gilner Foundation - this foundation helps grieving parents cover the outstanding cost of purchasing a headstone to remember their sweet babies. The Maguire Davis Gilner Foundation is a 501c3 organization.
Maguire's mother Dawn strongly feels that NO grave should be left unmarked for these Angel Babies:
"To the world, it may be just a stone, but to one person, that stone may have been the world."

"But I'm not a runner!" - hey, no problem - EVERYONE is welcome... you don't have to run, we'd love for you to participate - you can walk or jog the course too - come for the company and the fresh air and go at your own own pace!
The "Titus' Tot Trot" is just a short jaunt for the little ones. They will each get a tshirt for participation and the cost to enter is only $5
Our goal is to make the day a family event. We will have face painting, food, music, shopping, kid activities, and a balloon release in memory of the angel babies.
We would love for the whole family to come out and stay for a while after the race.
I'd also like to mention that strollers (expect some off road trails - a jogging stroller is best) and pets on leashes are welcome!!
